Brody Parr was his usual excellent self, rushing for 202 yards and three TDs. He has become a key player for Papillion-LaVista: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Omaha Westside faced Creighton Prep in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Warriors took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-20 victory over the Junior Jays. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 31 points or more this season.
The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Tay Tay Jenkins and Angelo Wallker. Jenkins had a great game and gained 235 total yards and five touchdowns. Meanwhile, Wallker did his best for the losing side, rushing for 89 yards and one score.
Omaha Westside's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Papillion-LaVista, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.
Thursday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Parr and Jenkins. Parr just won't slow down this season and has run in 7 touchdowns while averaging 94.6 rushing yards per game. Jenkins has been a dominant force too and has run in 22 touchdowns while averaging 179.8 rushing yards per game.
Papillion-LaVista was taken down by Omaha Westside 36-0 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Jenkins, who rushed for 224 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.3 yards per carry.
