The Technology Titans will be home for the holidays to greet the Point Arena Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Technology will be strutting in after a win while Point Arena will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, it was close, but Technology ultimately received the gift of a 44-41 victory from a begrudging Titanssquad.
Meanwhile, Point Arena was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 54-50 to Hoopa Valley.
Fernando Lopez put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. He scored a full 38% of Point Arena's points, the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Dauki Bechtol was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 13 rebounds.
Technology's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Point Arena, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.
Technology was dealt a bruising 81-26 defeat at the hands of Point Arena in their previous matchup on December 2nd. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Technology was down 56-17.
