When it comes to explaining why Ferndale lost on Monday, one person who can't be blamed is Caleb Fenton. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Fenton is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Kring, who scored five points.
Ferndale now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Northern Cambria, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ferndale will take on the Elks at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
