Asya Jones put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 14 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Carolyn Caldwell, who scored 5 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Riverside sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-34 win over First Coast on Thursday. The win was just what Riverside needed coming off of a 60-17 defeat in their prior match.
Bishop Snyder bumped their record down to 6-3 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
