South Central is a perfect 6-0 against North Judson-San Pierre since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Satellites will square off against the Bluejays at 4:30 p.m. South Central's pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so North Judson-San Pierre's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
South Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Culver Community 3-2. The Satellites haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lexi Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Maddy Cleek, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Judson-San Pierre). They blew past Oregon-Davis 21-0 on Monday. The Bluejays not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2024 (when they won 22-0).
Oregon-Davis' batters probably weren't too happy with Molly Madsen, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (she gave up zero walks).
On the hitting side, Charlize Boyd was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and four RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits (two). Kenya Cooper was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
The win made it two in a row for North Judson-San Pierre and bumps their season record up to 10-13. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for South Central, their record is now 17-6-1.
Everything went South Central's way against North Judson-San Pierre in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as South Central made off with a 7-0 win. Do the Satellites have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
