Basketball Recap: Foothills Community Christian Piles Up the Points Against Petra Academy

Foothills Community Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They really took it to Petra Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-18 victory. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Foothills Community Christian found their leader in sophomore Leah Hass, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was Lily Hass, who earned eight points.

Foothills Community Christian pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22 points. As for Petra Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Foothills Community Christian will be playing at home against Gallatin Valley Christian HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Foothills Community Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Petra Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
