The Moody Blue Devils will take on the Chilton County Tigers in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at. Moody is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Last Friday, Moody came up short against Springville and fell 54-44. The loss put an end to Moody's undefeated start to the season.
Meanwhile, the stars were shining brightly for Chilton County in a 60-43 victory over John Carroll Catholic on Thursday.
Chilton County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Iasia Anderson out in front who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, 16 rebounds, and 11 assists. The match was Anderson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ishunti Brown, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Moody's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-1. As for Chilton County, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.
