Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Shea Wurtz stepped things up a notch to give Clifton-Clyde the 'W'. Onaga had no answer to Wurtz as she scored 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Wurtz and Clifton-Clyde will head out on the road to square off against Valley Heights on Tuesday. Clifton-Clyde has some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since January of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
