Make it ten blowout wins for the Warren County Screaming Devils this season. They claimed a resounding 67-39 win over Washington-Wilkes on the road. With Warren County ahead 41-14 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Courtney Bray was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jailee Allen, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Warren County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Washington-Wilkes, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-12.
Warren County will take on the Fightin' Irish at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquinas will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 327th, while the Screaming Devils are ranked 162nd). As for Washington-Wilkes, they will head out on the road to challenge the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Oconee Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
