Taylor has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news, Greenbrier West let  Julia Herndon and  Brooke Patterson loose on the outfield. Herndon  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-2, while  Patterson  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Herndon is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Madalyn Fields, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
