Nicholas has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Ashton Flores, who scored seven points along with ten rebounds and five assists.
Crooms Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Aristile, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds. Micah Parker was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Warner Christian Academy now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Crooms Academy, their win bumped their record up to an identical 8-9.
Warner Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Christ's Church Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Christ's Church Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Tuesday. As for Crooms Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome First Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (First Academy is ranked 693rd, while Crooms Academy is ranked 676th).
