The Ripley Tigers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Shannon 59-56. The victory was just what Ripley needed coming off of a 69-36 defeat in their prior game.
Alorian Story continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 40 points. Somonie Knox was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Ripley's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-13. As for Shannon, they dropped their record down to 7-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Ripley will take on West Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shannon, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Calhoun City at 6:00 p.m.
