 On Coudersport's side,  Mitchell Taylor made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Taylor was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Mason Roessner was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Gavyn Ayers, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Oswayo Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Coudersport, the  win was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
 Oswayo Valley will head out on the road to  challenge  Bradford at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Coudersport, they will be playing at home against Cowanesque Valley at 2:00  p.m.  on Saturday.
