While losing is never fun, Holy Trinity Classical Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Calhoun Academy is ranked 145th).
Meanwhile, Cross Schools pushed their score all the way to 62 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Holly Hill Academy on the road by a decisive 76-62 margin.
Holy Trinity Classical Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cross Schools, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Holy Trinity Classical Christian suffered a grim 66-45 defeat to Cross Schools in their previous meeting on December 1st. Can Holy Trinity Classical Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
