Given the Huskies' advantage  in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Rangers are ranked 235th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Northview's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Forest Hills Northern, their victory bumped their record up to 20-3.
 Northview ended up a good deal behind  Forest Hills Northern when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, losing  63-44. Can Northview avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
