Uxbridge lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Clinton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's matchup. The Spartans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Gaels a 7-0 shutout on Thursday. Considering the Spartans have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Uxbridge, bringing their record up to 18-5. As for Clinton, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-7.

As of now, neither Uxbridge nor the Gaels have any future games scheduled.
