After a string of three wins, Hanover-Horton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Lumen Christi Catholic Titans by a score of 69-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (55), the Comets still had to take the loss.

Hanover-Horton's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-3.

Hanover-Horton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lumen Christi Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stockbridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Lumen Christi Catholic likes a good challenge.
