Meanwhile, Evergreen Lutheran came tearing into back in December of 2023's game with eight straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Sound Christian with points to spare, taking the game 45-31.
Quilcene bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Evergreen Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
Quilcene was taken down by Evergreen Lutheran 61-28 in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Quilcene avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
