Hillsboro had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Haven Wildcats. Surprisingly, this marked the Trojans' eighth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Hillsboro not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Haven to exactly 19 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-19.

This is the second loss in a row for Haven and nudges their season record down to 0-2-1.

Hillsboro has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Hesston on the 30th. As for Haven, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 0-0 draw against Pratt on the 30th.
