Plattsburgh is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Crown Point is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Hopefully Plattsburgh is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Crown Point in New York (Plattsburgh is ranked 110th, while Crown Point is ranked 399th).
Plattsburgh suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Hudson Falls by a score of 51-48.
Meanwhile, even though Schroon Lake scored an imposing 56 points on Thursday, Crown Point still came out on top. Crown Point snuck past Schroon Lake with a 61-56 win.
Crown Point's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trevor Harris led the charge by scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least a third of Crown Point's points. Another player making a difference was Reese Pertak, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Plattsburgh's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Crown Point, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
