Memphis G gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in February on Friday. Charlotte had no answer to G as he struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. Knippa is undefeated when G allowstwo or fewer earned runs, but 3-7 otherwise.
