Lincoln came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Wallenberg Bulldogs for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-40 win. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 12-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Wallenberg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Lincoln won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Galileo at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Lincoln knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Galileo likes a good challenge.
