Volleyball Recap: Berlin Extends Winning Streak to Four

Berlin entered their tilt with East Hampton on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Bellringers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Redcoats have posted since October 3rd.

Kaley Alkas paced Berlin's offense, picking up five kills. Alkas got some help from Caroline Niemiec and her eight assists. Gianna Brini controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Berlin's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for East Hampton, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Berlin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against Amity Regional on the 11th. As for East Hampton, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Coginchaug Regional on the 13th.
