Walhalla won the last time they met up with Carolina Academy, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything came up roses for Walhalla against Carolina Academy on Friday as the squad secured a 61-6 victory. Followers of Walhalla probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The win bumped Walhalla's record up to 5-0. Carolina Academy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Walhalla take on Belton-Honea Path at Belton-Honea Path at 7:30 PM. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. Carolina Academy will be staying on the road in two weeks, facing off against Chapman. Carolina Academy stagger into the contest hobbled by six consecutive losses while Chapman skip in buoyed by six consecutive wins.
