In other batting news, ALA - Queen Creek got a massive performance out of Matea Webster, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave Webster a new career-high. Sadie Nielson was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
ALA - Queen Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Estrella Foothills only posted a batting average of .273.
Meanwhile, ALA - Gilbert North lost 16-3 to Saguaro on Monday.
Coco Gomez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those RBI marked the first that she brought in this season.
ALA - Gilbert North's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for ALA - Queen Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
