Basketball Recap: Carlisle County Skates Past Hickman County with Ease

Carlisle County was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Hickman County on Tuesday. The Carlisle County Comets took their game with ease, bagging a 62-25 win over the Hickman County Falcons. The contest marked the Comets' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Carlisle County was led to victory by Wyatt Rickard and Heath Mcbride. Rickard went 8 of 12 on his way to 17 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals, while Mcbride went 8 for 14 en route to 17 points and eight boards. The dominant performance gave Rickard a new career-high in steals. Brennan O'Neill was another key player, going 5 for 7 en route to 10 points.

Carlisle County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points per game. As for Hickman County, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
