Triad barely beat Highland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights blew past the Bulldogs 11-3 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 14 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Triad and bumps their season record up to 23-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Highland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-12.

Triad will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
