Trinity Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against The Habersham School Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Trinity Christian comes in on five and The Habersham School on three.
Trinity Christian stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 49-23 margin over Coastal HomeSchool. Given Trinity Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 198th, while Coastal HomeSchool is ranked 414th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, The Habersham School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 72-10 win over Heritage Christian Academy. That 62 points margin sets a new team best for The Habersham School this season.
Among those leading the charge was Anna Cadle, who scored 15 points along with three steals. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Camryn Hampton, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Trinity Christian's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for The Habersham School, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
Trinity Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over The Habersham School in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 43-30. Does Trinity Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will The Habersham School turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
