After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Hersey, Rolling Meadows was happy to have turned things around  on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Round Lake Panthers with a sharp  14-1 win. Considering the Mustangs have won five games by more than nine  runs this season, Saturday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Chloe McQueen looked comfortable as she  didn't allow a single  hit and  allowed only  one  earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Caylee Del Boccio was  incredible,  going a perfect 4-for-4 with two  stolen bases, four  RBI,  and one  triple. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ashlyn Ferguson, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Rolling Meadows was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Round Lake only posted a  batting average of  .000.
Rolling Meadows' record is now 5-10. As for Round Lake, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the  defeat, which was their 15th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Rolling Meadows didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  15-3  loss against Buffalo Grove on the 28th. As for Round Lake, they have also already played their next matchup,  a  15-0  defeat against Harvard on the 28th.
