The Davis Darts won the last time they faced the Mountain Crest Mustangs, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Davis was the clear victor by a 57-36 margin over Mountain Crest. With Davis ahead 34-11 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Davis can attribute much of their success to Kendra Kitchen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Kitchen has scored at least 25% of Davis' points. The team also got some help courtesy of T'Maea Eteuati, who scored 14 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Davis and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Mountain Crest, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Davis will be playing at home against Riverton at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain Crest, they will head out on the road to face off against Box Elder at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th.
