The Harmony Longhorns will face off against the Lake Minneola Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Harmony is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.7 runs per game this season.
Harmony barely beat East River the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Harmony put the hurt on East River with a sharp 13-6 victory two weeks ago. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

McKenzie Whitehouse and Lindsay Green made a splash no matter where they played. Throwing, Whitehouse pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Meanwhile, Green pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. At the plate, Whitehouse scored a run while going 1-for-4, while Green scored two runs while going 3-for-5. That's the most hits Green has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emerson Aslan, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Haley Diaz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
Harmony kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Lake Minneola was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Cornerstone Charter Academy, falling 11-1. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Ducks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Lake Minneola saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amaliz Martinez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
Lake Minneola's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Harmony, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Lake Minneola's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Harmony hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324.
