After losing to the Flanagan Falcons the last time they met, the Plantation Colonels decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Plantation blew past Flanagan, posting a 84-29 win on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Plantation.
Plantation can attribute much of their success to Daterrius Heller, who scored 22 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Clemons, who scored 9 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Baugh, who scored 9 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Baugh is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tyler Kilhefner, who scored 10 points.
Plantation's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Flanagan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Plantation will be playing in front of their home fans against Nova at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Flanagan, they will head out on the road to face off against Western at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
