Veritas Christian Academy waltzed into their game  on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Challenger Firebirds 68-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  60-58  back in November of 2024.
 Challenger's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Braelon Roe, who  posted 18 points and six  rebounds. Roe is  on a roll when it comes to  points, as he's  now  scored 17 or more in the last four games he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Riley Annis, who  had 20 points and four  steals.
Veritas Christian Academy's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-8. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 65.3 points over those games. As for Challenger, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.
As of now, neither Veritas Christian Academy nor Challenger have any future games scheduled.
