The Imhotep Charter Panthers will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against the Delaware Valley Warriors at 1:00 p.m. on November 25th. The pair have allowed few points on average, (Imhotep Charter: 7.4, Delaware Valley: 16.5) so any points scored will be well earned.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Imhotep Charter walked away with it. They managed a 30-26 win over the Cahillite on Saturday.
Mikal Davis jr looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 81 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Delaware Valley waltzed into Friday's game with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They claimed a resounding 56-27 victory over Whitehall at home. Delaware Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by 27 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Ryder Machado, who rushed for 252 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Olsommer, who threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes.
Another reason for the win was Delaware Valley's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Whitehall's QB won't forget Jacob Albaugh anytime soon given Albaugh sacked him twice.
Their wins bumped Imhotep Charter to 12-0 and Roman Catholic to 8-3.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Saturday's game as Imhotep Charter and Delaware Valley haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Imhotep Charter commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 6.2 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Delaware Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.8 per game.
