Andrew Jackson Academy hadn't done well against Colleton Prep Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Warriors put the hurt on the War Hawks with a sharp 12-2 win. Considering the Warriors have won four games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

In other batting news, Kaiden Kinard was a standout: he scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Hayden McClung, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Andrew Jackson Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Colleton Prep Academy struck out nine times.

The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games.
