 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Gretta Barrieau, who  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.  Cassidy Craig was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 West Park's win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-3. As for Bear River, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record  this season.
