The Edgemont Moguls waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over Morrill. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but Edgemont was the better team in the second half.
Hadley Hollenbeck was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tavian Urban, who scored eight points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.
Edgemont has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. As for Morrill, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4.
Edgemont on the road again on Saturday and play against Hay Springs at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th. Hopefully Hay Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday. Morrill won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Crawford at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th.
