It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Winona had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-22 victory over the O'Bannon Greenwaves. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won five games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Winona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Crawford, who rushed for 70 yards and one score on only eight carries, and also threw for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. That's the most passing yards Crawford has posted since back in September. Tavarius Eden was in the mix as well, providing Winona with two TDs.

Winona didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited O'Bannon to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Elijah Harbin for the heroic effort on defense: he. Winona has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.59 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.59 in their last three games.

Winona's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for O'Bannon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Winona didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 21-8 win against Belmont on the 14th. O'Bannon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
