After two games on the road, Stringer is heading back home. They will take on the Piney Woods Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Stringer suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Leake County 71-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Stringer has suffered against Leake County since January 21, 2020.
Meanwhile, Piney Woods didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Taylorsville on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 42-38 victory. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Piney Woods.
Stringer has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Piney Woods, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.
Stringer was able to grind out a solid win over Piney Woods in their previous matchup back in February of 2020, winning 46-34. Does Stringer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Piney Woods turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
