Atlantic City is 2-0 against Oakcrest since October of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Atlantic City Vikings will be playing at home against the Oakcrest Falcons at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Atlantic City's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
Two weeks ago, Atlantic City was fully in charge, breezing past Bridgeton 48-6 on the road. The result was nothing new for Atlantic City, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Oakcrest fell victim to Cedar Creek's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They fell 13-0 to the Pirates.
Even if they lost, Oakcrest's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Sean Torres and his two sacks.
Atlantic City's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.8 points per game. As for Oakcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.
Atlantic City didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Oakcrest when the teams last played back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 26-21 win. Will Atlantic City repeat their success, or does Oakcrest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
