Hickory Ridge made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Lake Norman, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Ragin' Bulls were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Wildcats on Tuesday. Considering the Ragin' Bulls have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hickory Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Norman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-7.

Hickory Ridge will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
