Hayesville extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Mallory Peck. The Hayesville Yellowjackets enjoyed a cozy 49-35 win over the Murphy Bulldogs on Tuesday thanks in part to Peck, who posted 16 points and five rebounds. What's more, she also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in January of 2024.

Bryleigh Krieger was another key player, putting up four points and 13 boards. Hayesville is 8-2 when Krieger posts eight or more rebounds, but 5-8 otherwise.

Hayesville's record is now 13-10. As for Murphy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hayesville will challenge Robbinsville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Murphy, they will take on Andrews at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
