Despite the defeat, Brunswick had strong showings from Gabby Stefanic, who scored 24 points along with six rebounds and six steals, and Andie Welsh, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds. Welsh is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Maddy Hoffman was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Clear Spring's win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10. As for Brunswick, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
Clear Spring will head out on the road to face off against Catoctin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catoctin is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games. As for Brunswick, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Walkersville at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
