The Mojave Rattlers will square off against the Beaver Dam Diamondback at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mojave is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.
Mojave's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Valley as they made off with a 15-0 win. The game was the first time the Rattlers have beaten the Vikings on their field since April 11, 2017.

Jaime Adame Jr made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Mojave is undefeated when Adame Jr allows three or fewer hits, but 1-2-1 otherwise. Adame Jr was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Daniel Roman was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Erick Talavera was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Mojave was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Beaver Dam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to Milford.
Beaver Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mojave, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-2-1.
Beaver Dam's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Mojave has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.1 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Beaver Dam, though, as they've been averaging only 3.2 strikeouts. Will Mojave keep running through batters, or will the Diamondback buck the trend?
