Hialeah-Miami Lakes never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats 16-0. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 15 runs or more this season.

Daniela Castejon made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Castejon was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Isma Viloria was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

The victory (which was Hialeah-Miami Lakes' fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Westland Hialeah, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hialeah-Miami Lakes will welcome Goleman at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westland Hialeah will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 3:30 p.m. on April 7th.
