Hialeah-Miami Lakes never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats 16-0. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 15 runs or more this season.
Daniela Castejon made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Castejon was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Isma Viloria was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
