Hearne was led to victory by Dereion Mitchell and Cristian Robinson. Mitchell dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards, while Robinson posted 17 points. Robinson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Kelton Cooks Jr, who scored six points.
Mumford's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 17-9. As for Hearne, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4.
