Two dominant guards in Lacie Allison and Kendell Skiver are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Baltimore Tigers and the Ottawa Hills Green Bears will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Baltimore is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
North Baltimore barely beat Swanton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers blew past the Bulldogs 64-19 on Saturday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kaylee Allison was a one-woman wrecking crew as she shot 78% from the field on her way to 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Those 78% field goal percentage gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Cotterman, who posted seven points and six boards.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Ottawa Hills on Thursday. They took down Otsego 62-46. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Green Bears' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Knights are ranked 326th).
Ottawa Hills' win came from a few key players North Baltimore will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Sophia Vanslooten, who went 6-for-14 en route to 21 points. She has become a key player for Ottawa Hills: the team is undefeated when she posts at least 20 points, but 1-2 otherwise. Alexa Potts was another key player, putting up five points in addition to nine steals and five rebounds.
Ottawa Hills was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in four consecutive games.
North Baltimore's record now sits at 7-0. As for Ottawa Hills, their record is now 4-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: North Baltimore has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Ottawa Hills struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.7 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
North Baltimore took their victory against Ottawa Hills in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 60-36 score. In that matchup, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 37-17, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
