Shandon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 68-39 loss at the hands of the Cuyama Valley Bears. One positive for the Outlaws, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Shandon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Cuyama Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shandon will welcome San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cuyama Valley, they will take on Maricopa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cuyama Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
