On Wednesday, Norwell came up short against Decatur Central and fell 57-45.
Decatur Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kc Berry, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Melakih Cunningham, who scored 18 points.
Norwell's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Decatur Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.
Norwell's road trip will continue as they head out to face Triton Central at 5:30 p.m. on December 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Triton Central is ranked 122nd, while Norwell is ranked 131st). As for Decatur Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Martinsville at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
