Even though the Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, Abington Friends still came out on top. Abington Friends took their game against Abraham Lincoln 70-57.
Several Railsplitters players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aldonis Martin, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samair Peterson, who scored 15 points.
Abington Friends now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Abraham Lincoln, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Abington Friends' homestand continues as they prepare to take on Haverford School at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Abraham Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Sankofa Freedom Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
